Hawaii small claims courts by county

Hawaii's District Court is a statewide court organized by circuit: Oahu (First Circuit), Maui County including Molokai, Lanai and Kalawao (Second), Hawaii Island with Hilo and Kona divisions (Third) and Kauai (Fifth). File in the district court division where the defendant lives; if the defendant lives on another island, you can file where the claim arose or where the defendant can be found.
