Connecticut small claims courts by county

Connecticut has no county governments (abolished in 1960) and no county courts; small claims are a session of the state Superior Court, heard at Judicial District courthouses that each serve a set list of towns. File in the court assigned to the town where you live, where the defendant lives or does business, or where the transaction or injury happened (landlord-tenant cases go to the housing session); several towns have a choice of two courts. The 8 historical counties below are shown with their main courthouse, and the Judicial Branch's town-by-town table decides the exact court.
