There is no single county small claims court: 62 District Courts and the 8 divisions of the Boston Municipal Court each serve a set of cities and towns, and each hears small claims (the Housing Court also takes small claims about rental housing). File in the court serving the town where you or the defendant lives, works or has a business; apartment claims can also be filed where the apartment is.
